The Challenge
A performance-focused group training gym based in Noarlunga Centre approached Froth Media with a clear goal: attract 30 new high-intent leads over 8 weeks using Meta Ads.
With a limited media budget, the challenge was to not only drive new leads but also ensure quality—helping the gym convert prospects into loyal members, particularly for their flagship $65/week Performance Membership.
Objectives
- Phase 1: Lead Generation & Awareness
Attract fresh leads and raise awareness of the gym’s key offerings. - Phase 2: Conversion & Retention
Re-engage warm audiences with value-driven messaging and time-sensitive offers.
We also layered in visual tracking software to monitor on-site engagement and Meta Pixel optimisations to sharpen audience accuracy week-to-week.
The Stretegy
To achieve this, we deployed a two-phase Meta advertising campaign tailored to the gym’s audience, built on deep local targeting, data-backed creative testing, and streamlined lead capture.
The Results
With consistent testing and a full-funnel strategy, the campaign exceeded expectations:
The campaign delivered nearly double the lead target (45 vs. 30) in Phase 1 alone.
The retargeting phase further reinforced brand trust and led to an additional 14 leads from warmer audiences.
Total leads were 59 over the 8 week period.
Creative that Converts
We deployed a full suite of ad copy variations across both phases, testing urgency-driven, value-based, and community-focused messaging.
These creatives were carefully optimised for mobile-first consumption, with short-form video content playing a crucial role in engagement.
